Severall reasons can lead to this result :
(1) The assumed model is not appropriate. To make sure it is not the case, test a mean model. This can be done in the pre- and post-processor.
(2) The parameter range is not right: same as above: test a mean model
(3) In the data preparation step, check that there were no errors on the description of the InSAR measurements as either range change or displacement. Such errors show as subsampled data having different amplitudes than original interferogram.
(4) Check that there are no unconsistencies in the LOS.
(5) The assumed variance used for the covariance matrix computation might be too small. Compute it in underformed area using DEFVOLC/Utils/calcACF.m
If none of these reasons can explain the lack of convergence, interrupt your inversion (Select your inversion name inn"Inversion in progress", then select "Interupt"), then download the temporary result ("Download temporary result") in your Model directory, where the inversion files were set up. Go the the pre- and post-processor and the vizualisation tab then visualize the mesh, the model-data-residuals comparison to ckeck that nothing is wrong. If despite that you do not find the origin of the error, contact us.
